Bobbin Console Table with Reeded Drawers

A bobbin console table with three tiers and drawers with a reeded front. 

An evolution of our standard console table adjusted to include drawers. Photographed is a bespoke piece at 2.4m wide but this would suit being smaller with just two drawers or even three. We can work to the width which suits your space.

Our standard sizes we would recommend are 1.4m W with three drawers, 1.8m W with three drawers or 2.2m wide with four drawers. 

Our console tables work well behind sofas, in hallways, or at the edges of the room for lamps and decorative items as well as books. The console makes a beautiful and useful addition to any room with three shelves and drawers for storage and display. 

A contemporary take on 17th century "spool" furniture, combining an antique appeal with a modern and playful aesthetic. The bobbin components are hand-turned on a traditional wood lathe, simultaneously spinning and shaping; it begins square and through careful use of a chisel, the sequence of bobbin rounds are formed. Each piece is unique and celebrates the individual grain patterns found in the timber.
